They're fast, they're dangerous, they make a hell of a racket. There's nothing else quite like it in the aviation world. Sure, astronauts are great, but when do they ever get to fire missiles and rain terror upon their enemies?
Fighter Jets is a tribute to 4 legendary military aircraft, packed in a bespoke box with visual goodies and info.
F-4J Phantom II
Over a service history that spawns for six decades 5000+ F-4's were built, becoming the first line of more Western air forces than any other jet, and one of the most iconic and consequential military aircraft ever built.
We're honoured to suit up with the 74(F) 'Tiger' Squadron of the RAF to create a tribute to one of 15 uniquely specced F-4's. The ZE360, broke the London-Edinburgh record in 1987 (27min3s) and is now being restored to be on display.
One of the most iconic fighter jets of all time, the F-14 Tomcat could do just about anything asked of it with advanced sensors and a wide range of weaponry, marking a new generation of fighter jet.
It could also adjust the angle of its wings for optimal performance at any speed, all the way up to 2.5 times the speed of sound. This particular one was piloted by Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell in hit 1986 movie 'Top Gun'.
F-15E Strike Eagle
We're honoured to have been invited to suit up with the 492nd Fighter Squadron of the USAF to create a design inspired by their F-15E Strike Eagles.
One of the most versatile airframes of the late 20th century, the F-15 is an outstanding superiority and interceptor fighter, an all-weather ground-attack platform, continuing to play a key role wherever NATO forces are deployed.
F-16C Fighting Falcon
Our latest collaboration with real-life USAF 480th 'Warhawks' Fighter Squadron, a Wild Weasel unit tasked with the suppression of enemy air defenses and anti-radiation duties.
Still one of the most popular fighters in the world, the F-16 was initially developed for pure air superiority but has since evolved to become a highly capable multirole warbird. It's also one of the world's first aircraft to withstand higher g-forces than the pilots.
